Active Schools aims to provide more and higher quality opportunities to take part in sport and physical activity before school, during lunchtime and after school, and to develop effective pathways between schools and sports clubs in the local community. Each school cluster has their own dedicated coordinator that works across multiple schools including the high school creating the opportunities from P1-S6.

Our coordinator Jen has worked in Active Schools for 18 years and has been with the Graeme Cluster for over 10 years developing school sport, working closely with staff and volunteers to provide opportunities for our pupils to participate in, organise and lead sport and physical activity at Victoria Primary. Active Schools provide year round competitions, festivals and events for pupils to take part in across various sports and age groups.

We are very proud of our school teams, development sessions and club links created for our pupils to start active and stay active. Our staff volunteer their time to deliver these clubs, and we are always looking for volunteers to help expand our delivery across the year.
